In applying for Burger Ring, we hope that you will follow these simple rules throughout the process of your application and career with us! Failure to do so may result in punishments such as being FIRED! That means being removed from the webring, by the way.

Your site must have some kind of content, even if it is just a small about me or home page. Websites that are empty will not be accepted. We want employees with substance!
If your site has suggestive content, it should not be on the page that the widget directs to. Additionallly, sites spreading hate and/or having content that includes one of the following: (1) non-artistic NSFW content (i.e. pornography), (2) gore, (3) illegal content/substance abuse, (4) etc., are not allowed. Employees of Burger Ring must be classy and respectful.
After you've been hired, you're required to have the widget somewhere on your website. Every website, and thus every chain of Burger Ring, matters!
Be respectful to your fellow coworkers as well as any customers!

ABOUT BURGER RING

Welcome to Burger Ring? Have a seat, may we take your order? Wait, you don't even know what Burger Ring is?! Well, we sure have a lot of explaining to do!

At its simplest, Burger Ring is a webring for those who love fast food, no matter the chain. Whether you're a connoiseur of sustenance made at a quick pace or just a normal person who picks up a burger with a side of fries every once in a while, this webring is for you!

Burger Ring isn't just a webring for fast food lovers, however. It is also an art-based/slightly roleplay-adjacent webring, where members are all part of Burger Ring, a fast food restaurant with chains all throughout the web! Don't worry, though, the art stuff is optional!

APPLYING FOR BURGER RING

Applying for Burger Ring is as easy as answering the form below! All you need, at its most basic, is your name, your site, your contact info, and an image used to represent you, it doesn't need to be a fully-drawn character.

However, if you want to fully participate in the artistic requirements of this webring, there are a few requirements to be made!

THE CHARACTER

There are no requirements for the character themselves, however it is recommended that, if the character is anthropomorphic/humanoid, that the image is around 600 pixels in height. This is the same size that I used for my character sprite (SPARKO & darko). You don't need to follow this if your art style does not use pixel brushes, but for those like me who do, it is recommended to use sizes similar to this height so that they aren't any freaky scaling problems.

THE UNIFORM

Unfortunately, I can't make a proper uniform reference because I'm lazy. Fortunately, this means you can make your uniform whatever you want, provided you follow these simple rules!

The Burger Ring color scheme follows these main colors: #ffcc00, #ff8036, #ff3b21 and #49de20. #ff8036 and #ff3b21 are the main colors for the uniform while the others should be utilized as accents if needed. The colors can be darkened slightly for different shades on the uniform as well if needed.

Burger Ring uniforms should always include the Burger Ring logo somewhere, as shown below. If you need additional references for Burger Ring iconography and uniforms, additionally attached below is SPARKO and darko's sprite and the Burger Ring logo.

THE WIDGET

The widget is a drive-thru window of Burger Ring! You can combine these two images to make your own widget image. Just layer these in some kind of software and put your character in-between. You can customize further or make your own image if you want to!

THE FORM

Now that you've hopefully read and understood everything I just said, you can answer the form here! Note that all questions in the form are required to be filled. Thanks for applying, and good luck getting hired!
